THE RIDGE
The Ridge community is positioned in a prime location within the Sierra-Nevada foothills, characterized by its deep ridges and the flowing waters of the Feather River. This area, often referred to as a “Paradise” in local lore, boasts the natural beauty that has drawn people for generations. With the Plumas and Lassen National Forest, along with Sierra Pacific Industries land, bordering the ridge community, Tri-Ridge Trail Alliance is dedicated to leveraging this unique environment to ensure the preservation and development of trails in the upper and lower ridges.
Our mission focuses on fostering community engagement and support for trail initiatives throughout the Ridge. We aim to establish trails that will be accessible for future generations while also promoting community outreach, creating job opportunities, and organizing events. Enhancing our community by encouraging recreation, stimulating tourism, and supporting conservation efforts.

Volunteers
Volunteers are the lifeline of our community and the driving force behind the creation and preservation of the trails of the Ridge. They allow us to better connect with our community and more effectively direct our goals as a leading organization for trails. If you’re not already volunteering, we invite you to come join us and see how you can make a difference on the Ridge.
-
It's as simple as hitting the “Take Action” button in the top menu. Select the volunteer section, and we will connect with you on how you can get involved.

We advocate for inclusive trail access while recognizing that some trails are designed for specific activities. The Ridge offers a diverse array of hobbies and interest including walking, running, cycling, horseback riding, motorcycling, and more. Although our passion started with mountain biking, we firmly believe in the importance of creating and maintaining trails that can be enjoyed and shared by all communities on and around the Ridge Area.

Tri-Ridge Trail Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to funding and organizing trails along the ridge. Our mission is to enhance the outdoor experience for the community by developing and maintaining trail systems. We rely on the support of dedicated volunteers, generous donations, and grants to achieve our goals. Through these efforts, we aim to promote conservation and ensure that the trails remain accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
